ProMark Window Film & Blinds was chosen for shade and film installation at the future home of Desire2Learn on the 2nd floor of the old Tannery building located in downtown Kitchener. ProMark supplied and installed three separate products for the project: roller shades, computer-cut frosted film, and transparent coloured film.
The age of The Tannery building presented unique challenges. Mounting roller shades in the outer windows required wood blocks affixed above the drywall prior to shade installation to ensure solid framework. ProMark installed manually operated roller shades with a 3% openness and a 3-inch aluminium fascia.
Interior office sliding glass doors were embellished with computer-cut designs to provide privacy and to enhance the overall appearance of the work space.
Transparent coloured film incorporated with Desire2Learn’s logo was applied to a glass wall in an employee common room.
